INTERNATIONAL WORKCAMPS

The work camps for young international volunteers bring together 10 to 15 people of different nationalities for a period of 2 to 3 weeks. It is an action favoring exchange, meeting and carrying out concrete and useful work in local projects. The site is the result of a partnership between our teams,  local communities and associations. In this dynamic, the population and the volunteers are involved so that everyone can take ownership of the work. The volunteers commit to participate in a project of collective interest and intervene in complementarity with the inhabitants, even with local craftsmen who may be associated with it. The participants are young people who choose during their vacation to invest in a territory, they are not remunerated.
 
The regions, departments and the State support our projects. Such an action can be part of the youth, social action, culture and heritage component or even in the investment projects of the municipalities.
 
In addition to the restoration of the small built heritage, the worksites can relate to the maintenance of the natural inheritance, the development of communal spaces or the participation in the organization of a local event. local animation and an interesting dynamic around the intercultural encounter and the multiple possible interactions between international volunteers, residents and associations of the host municipality. It is a concrete example of civic engagement and mobility and is open to anyone who wants to take part in the project, at their level and in this group of people from different cultural and social backgrounds.
 
It is a collective action that brings together the skills and desires of everyone to bring an international dynamic to a village.
 
It is a voluntary action that allows young people from different cultures and social backgrounds to come together for three weeks around the same ideal of peace and sharing.
 
It is an action jointly organized by our local delegations with the communities for rural and semi-urban development and local animation.
 
It's a time to travel while staying at home and create lasting bonds.
