WHAT IS THAT  PARTICIPATORY WORK

Sem & Vol, like all the other delegations of Solidarités Jeunesses, uses the worksite as a means
fundamental to achieve our objectives of exchange and meeting.
This tool allows us to express our values, we find there:
Manual work (learning techniques and handling tools, safety, etc.) which provides
better self-knowledge in a new and rewarding context.
Collective work - the "doing-together" which is for us the accomplishment of a realization
concrete in the exchange and sharing of each other's ideas.
Commincation which is important to guarantee collective participation and the taking of a position in
a group, especially in an intercultural context.
The fact of building together and leaving a trace of our passage, of saying: we did it!
Allows to bring a stone to the building of the concrete construction of our society.
Every morning with our volunteers we carried out projects inside the reception center or in
outside on neighboring municipalities. We offer this type of participatory worksite, open to all and
invite the local population to come and help us take part in the evening (built, environmental, ...)
of their commune.
