VOLUNTEERING OUTSIDE THE FRAMEWORK
Sem & Vol - Délégation de Solidarités Jeunesses also welcomes various audiences in its center in Cause outside the specific voluntary arrangements (ESC, Civic Service, SVI, etc.). These are young volunteers outside the framework from Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia or interns.
VOLUNTEERS
To support the mobility of young people from Latin American, African or Asian countries, who cannot participate in projects in France for financial reasons, and to enrich the reciprocal intercultural encounter, Solidarités Jeunesses has created the International Fund of Solidarity (FIS) intended to help cover the transport costs of these young people: this makes it possible to increase the development of exchanges throughout the world.
Thanks to the FIS we welcome either volunteers invested in their sending association or our international partners directly whom we invite on training courses, international projects or for longer periods in our regional delegations.
These volunteers together with the other people hosted at Sem & Vol take part in the daily activities of the reception center (workcamps, local activities, etc.).
INTERNS
In a more specific context, in partnership with local structures and universities (IUT for example), we also welcome interns. By spending time in the delegation with international volunteers and the salaried team, the trainees discover the association, its functioning and develop skills in the field of organization and coordination of international projects. They also have the chance to put into practice these skills acquired through the animation of international projects.
