This volunteering is open to all, from 18 years old. He allows, without any particular condition other than motivation, to commit to a medium or long term project anywhere in the world.

HOW LONG ?
1 to 12 months
SHORT TERM
You leave three weeks maximum. You are part of a team of 12 to 15 people from various backgrounds. Together, you do a job, ensure the smooth running of collective life, share your culture, discover that of your host community. It can be an international project, a youth exchange, an artistic project, in France or abroad.
MEDIUM AND LONG TERM
You go into immersion for a month to a year. If in France, our projects are based on living together and mainly concern the fields of heritage and the environment, abroad it may be different. You invest in a social, educational, agricultural, artistic or cultural project. You support the project of your host association and participate in local development.

W HAT IS THE EUROPEAN SOLIDARITY CORPS?
The European Solidarity Corps is a new initiative of the European Union which aims to give young people the possibility of volunteering or working in the framework of projects organized in their country or abroad and intended to help communities and people all over Europe.
You can register from 17 years old, but you must be over 18 years old to be able to start a project. Participation in projects is open until the age of 30.
After a simple registration process, participants can be selected to take part in a wide range of projects (prevention of natural disasters, reconstruction work, assistance in centers for asylum seekers or social assistance to populations. in need, for example).
The projects have a duration of two to twelve months. They will be carried out generally in the Member States of the European Union.
WHAT ?
Solidarités Jeunesses offers medium and long-term volunteering projects in France and abroad in the fields of the environment, socio-cultural activities and the fight against poverty.
BUT STILL ?
volunteering is a tool for local development and popular education in the service of the general interest. It creates opportunities for mutual learning in an intercultural context and promotes concrete peace building. Because we are convinced of its usefulness, our movement participates in its promotion with the aim of making it accessible to all.
TO KNOW
Some projects are renewed every year and are carried out on a permanent basis. This is the case when the dates indicated are from January 1 to December 31.
You can then integrate these projects into different periods and for different durations, taking into account the constraints that the partner may indicate on the project descriptions. We therefore invite you to specify your availability on the registration form.
